According to reports, Arsenal and Tottenham could take their rivalry into the transfer market at the end of the season as The Sun claims both north London sides are eyeing a move for Roma midfielder Cengiz Under.

Both clubs are interested in signing the 21-year-old winger who has appeared 18 times in Serie A this season.

Tottenham’s chase seems to be in initial stages. Report says Spurs have only been watching and asking for information on the player for now. However, it stands, Arsenal are the only club to have made a genuine attempt to sign the midfielder.

Turkish international Under – who has four goals from ten caps – has also been watched by scouts from Manchester City and Bayern Munich this season after he stepped into Mohamed Salah’s boots last term.

Arsenal’s current wingers Alex Iwobi and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are struggling with consistency this season. Unai Emery may look to bolster his forward line when the summer rolls around.
