According to reports, Paris Saint Germain are interested in brining Matteo Guendouzi back to France.

The Express write that PSG are ‘keeping tabs’ on their former youth player, who has emerged as a rising star since joining Arsenal last year.

Guendouzi has figured for Arsenal far more than any fan or pundit had anticipated. So far the teenage midfielder has made 32 appearances in all competitions.

Unai Emery has no interest in letting the 19-year-old go, but Arsenal’s limited summer budget means he’s going to have to cash in somewhere if he wants to make any major signings.

Consequently, the report suggests Emery would consider cashing in on Guendouzi if PSG can cough up around £60m. That’s over eight-and-a-half times the £7m Arsenal signed him for in the summer.

Arsenal are also desperate to get Mesut Ozil’s £350,000-a-week salary off their wage bill and are open to offers for the 30-year-old midfielder, who is constantly being overlooked by Emery.
