Cedric Soares’ move to Arsenal arrived late in the transfer window but Mikel Arteta did manage to bring in reinforcements at full-back.
The defender signed on a season-long loan from Southampton on deadline day but will have to wait to play his first game in a Gunners shirt as he recovers from injury.
Have been spending the last couple of days working hard to come back ASAP. Good luck today in Burnley guys! I’ll be supporting you. #Arsenal #COYG #together #training pic.twitter.com/bqVGK0wOGR

Cedric will don the number 17 shirt, whilst new centre-back Pablo Mari will wear number 22.
Cedric had worn number two while at Southampton, but that is taken by Gunners fan favourite Hector Bellerin.
