Jose Mourinho has been tipped to return to the Premier League as Unai Emery’s replacement.

Arsenal are without a win in three games and relinquished a 2-0 advantage against bottom of the table Watford on Sunday.

Things had been looking up for the north Londoners but the mood at The Emirates appears to be on the slump once again.

The pressure’s on Unai Emery

And former Leeds and England right-back Danny Mills reckons former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho could be the breath of fresh air Arsenal need.

Mills questioned whether the Gunners have evolved much since Emery took charge and reckons Mourinho would accept the job on one condition.

“Is there much improvement since Arsene Wenger [left]?” Mills said on talkSPORT.

“Under Arsene Wenger it was always ‘they just keep doing the same thing, they keep playing the same way, they don’t sort out the defensive midfield, they don’t sort out the defence and it doesn’t get any better.”

Mills continued: “One thing you have to say about Mourinho [is] he always found different ways to win and he would adapt to the opposition.

“Mourinho I still think is one of the best. I’m not so sure that he would [take the Arsenal job].

“He’d need plenty of money, he’d need plenty of money to sort that defence out, that would be the biggest problem.

“But he was adaptable, Sir Alex Ferguson was always adaptable, would change formation in European games.
