Sagna: Fabregas wants to leave

Defender Bacary Sagna has admitted that captain Cesc Fabregas wants to move back to boyhood club Barcelona.

To be honest, I’m not sure why Sagna’s comments are big news, because who wouldn’t want to play for Barcelona, especially when it’s the Spanish club doing the chasing?

Fabregas would never come out and admit he wants to play for Barcelona, because doing so would be unprofessional, but we all know he wants to.

Sagna said: “I can say it’s true that Cesc wants to go to Barca.

“Fabregas wants to return to his country of birth, to his city, where his family are; he wants to play for one of the best teams in the world, Barcelona, and that’s understandable.

“At the moment, however, he is still Arsenal’s captain.”
