Lys Mousset scored the only goal of the game as Sheffield United earn a 1-0 win over Arsenal.

Unai Emery’s side were not at the races on Monday night and succumbed to the second defeat of the season.

Unai Emery continued without Mesut Ozil in his match day squad. Meanwhile neither Hector Bellerin or Kieran Tierney were selected in defence.

Nicolas Pepe got another opportunity to impress – he was one of Arsenal’s better players on the night, but the Frenchman still spurned a golden opportunity to give the north Londoners a first half lead.

But it was Lys Mousset who marked his first start for the Blades with the decisive goal in the first half, turning in Jack O’Connell’s knockdown from close range.

The Gunners stay fifth in the Premier League, while Sheffield United climb into ninth.

Gooners, it’s the kind of defeat that’s all too familiar… Let us know your thoughts…
