Alexis Sanchez’s late winner sealed three points to take Arsenal second behind runaway leaders Chelsea at the weekend, whilst title rivals Tottenham, Manchester City and Liverpool all dropped points.

Whilst the Chilean’s late panenka will take all the headlines, another man shone and broke a key milestone in the win over Sean Dyche’s Burnley.

Summer signing Shkodran Mustafi scored his first goal for the club to open the scoring on Sunday afternoon with a headed effort from a corner, which nestled nicely into the unmanned far corner.

Whilst a goal would seemingly be enough to wrap up a good afternoon for any centre-half, two more stats stood out from the German’s impressive showing.

Not only did the former Valencia and Everton man score from his only effort on goal, but he completed a substantial 66 passes, 72% of which were heading forward, with a few pinpoint long balls and one key pass thrown into the mix.

Furthermore, the World Cup winner won ten aerial duels, more than double any other player on the pitch, with Burnley’s Ashley Barnes coming closest, winning four.
