Yup, you guessed it! Thierry Henry is the PFA Player of the Year for the second season running.
Henry beat the likes of Alan Shearer, Jay-Jay Okocha, Steven Gerrard, Frank Lampard and our very own captain, Patrick Vieira to claim the award.
Thierry has been absolutely magnificent all season long netting an incredible 29 times in the league. His form was inspirational to our title challenge and it was only fitting he walked off with the award after being honoured by his peers.
The highlight of his tremendous scoring run in the Premiership would definitely be the back to back hattricks against Liverpool and Leeds. These were timely as it came at a time when pundits were beginning to doubt the team’s title prospects.
Henry becomes the first player to have won the coveted award two seasons in a row. Only Mark Hughes and Alan Shearer have won the award twice.
The PFA Premiership Team of the Year is also Arsenal dominated with Henry joined by Robert Pires, Vieira, Lauren, Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole.
Scott Parker surprisingly edged out Kolo Toure for the Young Player of the Year title but Kolo will earn a Premiership winners medal to reward his efforts!
