You’ll have to go back a fair few years to find the last time Tottenham and Arsenal conducted a transfer.

The two clubs have never been the friendliest of neighbours and, as such, transfers between them are extremely rare.

However, reports in Kick Off claim a blue moon is on the horizon with Tottenham having declared interest in Danny Welbeck.

The Englishman has struggled to become a favourite at the Emirates and has been tipped to move across north London.

New Gunners boss Unai Emery has set about bolstering his side and desipte the 27-year-old being part of England’s heroic World Cup squad this summer, Emery sees no place for him.

It is suggested that the former Manchester United forward’s tenacity, commitment and winning mentality is enough to persuade Mauricio Pochettino to make a stunning move for his services.
