Unai Emery has advised Kieran Tierney not to team up with Scotland for the Euro 2020 qualifiers, to help his injury comeback.

Tierney is set to make his second Arsenal appearance when Standard Liege visit The Emirates Stadium in the Europa League on Thursday night.

Signed from Celtic on deadline day, left-back Tierney sat out the opening weeks of the new season because of a groin injury.

Kieran Tierney made his debut for Arsenal in the League Cup last week

He made an impressive debut against Nottingham Forest and will be given another chance to shine at home to Liege.

Unfortunately, Alexandre Lacazette is out of the clash at The Emirates. The striker is still currently recovering from an ankle injury.

However, Lacazette should be available after the upcoming international break.

Arsenal beat Eintracht Frankfurt 3-0 away from home in their opening Group F game, where academy graduates Joe Willock and Bukayo Saka scored.

Gooners should expect another rotated squad for the visit of the Belgian side who also picked up three points in their opening game.
