Arsene Wenger says he will play “quite an experienced team” for Thursday’s Europa League visit of BATE Borisov.
The Gunners have already topped Group H and have done so without turning to several of their first-team players.
Olivier Giroud, Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott are set to start. The trio have not started a Premier League match between them so far, but have played regularly in the Europa League.
Giroud, who has expressed his frustrations over lack of game time, was recently warned by France international coach Guy Stephan that he needs to play more if he expects to picked for the World Cup squad.
Walcott has not played for Arsenal since the 0-0 draw with Red Star Belgrade on November 2, with illness seeing him sidelined for over a fortnight of that period.
The club announced new long-term contracts for youngsters Ben Sheaf, Eddie Nketiah and Matt Macey, but the trio may be made to wait until Arsenal’s League Cup quarter-final tie on December 19 for minutes.
