Should he start – it’s uncertain where Aaron Ramsey will operate. Ramsey has been preferred in the No 10 position over Mesut Ozil this campaign, while Emery opted for Ozil on the right in the 3-2 win at Cardiff a fortnight ago.
Meanwhile, Laurent Koscielny, who returned to training this week continues his recovery from an Achilles injury. Ainsley Maitland-Niles is sidelined with a broken leg while Sead Kolasinac and Carl Jenkinson are also out.
