Since Chelsea boss Antonio Conte switched to the 3-4-3 formation, his team have been unstoppable. The Blues have won 12 league games in a row and have demonstrated the 3-0 defeat to Arsenal back in September was a blessing in disguise.

Arsene Wenger’s side are currently nine points behind their London rivals as their title hopes hang by a thread. In fact, The Gunners are more likely to be peering over their shoulders with bitter rivals Tottenham on their coattails. Sp*rs won again yesterday, to close the gap again on Arsenal to just one point.

Arsenal have a tasty upcoming fixture list, but it’s not the weaker teams that the Gunners tend to struggle against. Conte’s Chelsea have proved they can go toe to toe with the league giants which is precisely why they are league favourites, while Arsenal continue to come up short against the big boys.

With that being said, take a look at TWO Chelsea players who would fit in at Arsenal perfectly…

Marcos Alonso

It seems Arsenal’s left side is a slight problem this season. Nacho Monreal, usually so reliable appears to have blown a fuse in recent weeks. Kieran Gibbs has impressed when called upon but his injury record is appalling.

Former Bolton and Sunderland left-back Marcos Alonso has thrived in Conte’s switch in formation. The left-back is by no means marauding, but is consistently involved going forward and concedes very little defensively. Some solidarity Arsenal could use.

Willian

Willian had been an unsung hero at Chelsea for some time. After their collapse last season the Brazilian skill, bravery and tenacity was one of very few bright sparks in a dismal campaign.

Willian’s playing style is often likened to Alexis Sanchez. He has an infectious desire to close down opposition and push his team up just like the Chilean.

Arsenal’s left side could still be improved. And with Sanchez, Willian and Welbeck to comeback, this forward line would be more imposing than ever.
