Disappointing result for Arsenal today, as the gunners went down 3-2 at home to Olympiakos. It was a strange match in some ways, with Arsenal dominating possession and creating the better of the opportunities, but the Greeks were the more efficient on the night unfortunately. The result leaves Arsenal 4th in group F with it all to do now if they hope to make the knockout stages for a 16th consecutive season. The lads will be devastated, but it is not done and dusted by any means. Four matches stand between Arsenal and the round of 16, starting with a double header against German champions Bayern Munich.
It will be far from easy, but Arsenal have their work cut out for them if they are to qualify for the round of 16.
As hard as it may be to stay positive after a result like this, Arsenal showed some glimpses of magic, and must put the result far behind them soon. Have a look at three things we learnt from today’s result.
Ospina really spoiled my night, coz I can’t explained the kind of embarrassment he gave to our fans tonight. He should better be left on the bench for sometimes.to serve as punishment to him.
