Three things we learnt despite Arsenal’s loss to Olympiakos

Although it is of little consolation after the fact, the performances from Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott were at the very least a bright spot and encouraging going forward. Both were on target of course and also assisted each other respectively, and the movement and interchanging from these two was brilliant all throughout the match. For Walcott it is now 13 in his last 14 starts now and for Sanchez 4 in his last 2. Bitterly disappointing to end up on the wrong end of the scoreline after that, but at the very least something to take note of for the road ahead.
