The Stoke City goalkeeper was the talk of gossip columns about a year or so ago, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United, amongst others, being linked with a move for the 27-year-old.

Although those rumours died down, reports have suggested that Real Madrid want to replace Iker Casillas with the Potters goalie. And, of course, if he’s good enough for the Los Blancos then he is good enough for Arsenal!
