None of the contenders involved in the top four race will be satisfied with their Easter weekend’s work after they all failed to pick up three points.

Arsenal, most surprisingly, suffered defeat at home to Crystal Palace. Unai Emery made hostile changes to his side, but despite the Gunners’ impeccable home form, Roy Hodgeson’s side were too strong for Emery’s second string.

Spurs beat Man City on away goals in midweek to progress to the semi-finals of the Champions League, but their second trip to the Etihad in the space of four days ended in a 1-0 domestic defeat.

Crystal Palace shocked The Emirates on Sunday afternoon

That result opened up the chance for Man Utd to take advantage, but the Red Devils remain sixth after a shocking 4-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday.

As for Chelsea, the Blues could only muster a draw at home to Burnley on Monday Night.

It’s important to remember, both Chelsea and Arsenal can still qualify for the Champions League if either of them wins the Europa League. However, the race for a top-four finish could well go down to the final day at this rate as the pressure begins to tell.
