Arsenal are set to lock horns with Tottenham over the signing of Eric Bailly in January, the Daily Mail say.
The Gunners’ defence are still adjusting to Unai Emery’s new philosophy, but the team have progressed well having conceded just two goals in their last five games.
Bailly, who was signed by Manchester United from Villarreal a little over two years ago has failed to win over Jose Mourinho.
The Ivorian is fat Old Trafford and was hauled off after just 18 minutes of United’s win against Newcastle last Saturday.
The report say Bailly has become disillusioned with life at Old Trafford and is looking to move.
Manager Jose Mourinho has consistently lamented the lack of recruits in Bailly’s position during the summer and the 24-year-old could be moved on if the Portuguese gets his way in the next window.
