Arsenal travel to Wembley on Saturday to face Spurs in what is set to be an interesting North London derby, arguably one of the most important clashes in the last few years.
Tottenham were victorious over Arsenal in the last ever north London derby to be held at White Hart Lane back in April, so the Gunners will be looking to inflict revenge on Mauricio Pochettino’s side on the weekend.
But both teams head to Wembley after positive results, with Spurs taking four points off of Manchester United and Liverpool while Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal battered Everton 5-1 at the weekend.
The teams sit fifth and sixth in the Premier League table as we head into the big clash – a defeat for either team could spell trouble for their top four aspirations.
It’s hard to separate the teams in-terms of the bookmakers odds, with both sides pretty much being given an even chance of securing a victory.
If you’re a betting man, it may be worth going for the draw in this clash – Popular sportsbook Bovada is known as a safe, straight-forward, all-for-one site for the recreational player with more detail in this review. Now with their standard 50% bonus for up to $250, it’s easy to see why many are choosing this book as of late.
In-terms of Injuries, Toby Alderweireld is Spurs’ only injury concern, with the defender back in training – but he looks set to be available for the big derby on the weekend.
Meanwhile for the Gunners, the manager will have to wait to see if Petr Cech will recover in time after a calf injury forced the shot-stopper off against the Toffees.
Nacho Monreal was subbed off early in the same game, but had been suffering with illness and is expected to face Pochettino’s side.
