According to reports, Unai Emery has offered Mesut Ozil to clubs in a bid to free up funds to sign Yannick Carrasco.

Ozil has started just 13 of the 22 Premier League games this season and looks to be hugely out of favour with Emery.

The German was omitted from the Arsenal side that lost 1-0 to West Ham last weekend, despite suggestions that he was fit to play.

Arsenal are hopeful of signing Barcelona ace Denis Suarez this month, while the Gunners have also been heavily linked with Chinese club Dalian Yifang’s attacker Carrasco.

Carrasco, formerly of Atletico Madrid, is believed to be wanted by Manchester United. Unai Emery is now desperately trying to offload Ozil to free up funds to sign the midfielder.

The Express say the Gunners boss has offered the German to Juventus and Inter Milan.

Unfortunately for the Spaniard, Ozil’s £350,000-a-week wage is a stumbling block for the Italian giants.
