Transfer rumours: Walcott a target for Serie A giants

AC Milan are ready to offer Theo Walcott a route out of Arsenal.

The winger has dropped down the pecking order at the Emirates this season and has been largely reduced to Europa League and domestic cup appearances.

Walcott, who has netted over 100 times for Arsenal during his near 12 year stint remains a top talent, but it appears his spell with the club is nearing an end.

The midfielder will be desperate to receive regular game time ahead of next summer’s World Cup in Russia – it’s good news for AC Milan who are enduring a poor domestic campaign and are ready to invest in the squad.

The Italian outfit are reportedly interested in a loan move or a loan with an obligation to buy. Arsenal may be willing to sell the former Southampton man in the New Year to shift his £140,000-per-week off the wage bill.
