Arsenal could be set for a busy January transfer window, despite seemingly failing to convince Adrien Rabiot to join from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Gunners have been linked with a number of top performers in recent weeks as the window draws ever closer.

Atletico Mineiro right-back Emerson, Lille’s Nicolas Pepe and Barcelona ace Ousmane Dembele have all at some point been tipped to arrive at the Emirates.

Meanwhile, Aaron Ramsey, could leave premature to his contract expiry date next summer.

The latest star to be linked with the Gunners is PSG midfielder Rabiot. However, according to the Express, boss Unai Emery looks to have missed out on a reunion with the Frenchman.

And that’s because Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo say that Rabiot has told Barcelona officials that he wants to join next summer.

Emery is known to share a good relationship with the 23 year-old, but it is claimed that Barca are unconcerned about rivals stealing their top target.
