Arsenal are working hard to bring Denis Suarez to the Emirates this January.
That’s the message from Unai Emery.
The club are reportedly looking into loaning the midfielder this month with an obligation to sign him on permanent contract this summer.
Emery worked with Suarez during their time together at Sevilla and hinted the club was doing everything they can to get a deal for the 25-year-old over the line.
He said: “The club is working with a situation which can help us.
“I cannot speak about individual players, but I know we are working on different possibilities if it can help us for these four months for our competition.
“I believe they work. I know It’s a difficult window for the transfer market.
“If one player comes in to help us, I’m happy. The club is doing that. I’m going to wait.”
Suarez is very much out of the picture at the Nou Camp having figured in just four La Liga games this season.
The midfielder is expected to be a replacement for Aaron Ramsey, who is suggested to have signed a contract to join Juventus at the end of the season.
