Unai Emery remains interested in Dani Ceballos despite midfielder’s recent backtrack

Arsenal are keen on making Dani Ceballos’ switch to The Emirates a permanent one.

The midfielder on-loan from Real Madrid has settled in well to his spell in north London.

Ceballos quickly won over the fans with his dribbling ability and forward thinking attitude.

The 23-year-old recently hinted at a permanent saying he was ‘very happy’ with his decision to leave the Spanish capital after being few opportunities by Zinedine Zidane last season.

However, the Spaniard late backtracked on his comments and made it clear that he would like to return to Real Madrid in future to try and make things work at the Bernabeu.

However, The Star are reporting that Emery is aware that it will be difficult to convince Real Madrid to sell but that he s going to try.
