Unai Emery has told Arsenal he is content with his current squad ahead of the January transfer window.

Arsenal signed six players this past summer and after a steady start to the new season, the Gunners sit 3rd behind Manchester City and runaway leaders Liverpool.

Emery brought in some impressive new additions, including Kieran Tierney, Nicolas Pepe , and David Luiz; as well as offloading plenty of deadwood.

William Saliba is progressing well in Saint Etienne after being loaned straight back to his former club. And Dani Ceballos is being considered for a permanent transfer next summer.

According to The Athletic, Emery has seen enough to be convinced he has the tools at his disposal to not require any further reinforcements mid-season.

Question marks remain over Arsenal’s strength in defence. But it appears Emery is waiting until the end of the season before making any adjustments.

Content with that, Gooners? Let us know in the comments…
