Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could be offered a position with Real Madrid this summer, if Zinedine Zidane doesn’t continue with his fine leadership that has been displayed thus far.

Spanish outlet AS suggest that trigger-happy Real Madrid president Florentino Perez could wield the axe on Zidane if Los Blancos fail to win La Liga, with the Madrid outfit currently sitting pretty at the top of the division.

Boasting a two-point lead over arch-rivals Barcelona and boasting a game in hand, the Champions League holders are also set to continue the defence of their European crown in the coming weeks; as they prepare for a huge quarter-final clash with Bayern Munich.

Should Zidane’s side failure to push on in Europe and concede their advantage in the battle for glory in La Liga, the Spanish giants could elect to make a change this summer- and Perez would consider bringing Arsene Wenger into the fold.

Wenger’s future at Arsenal continues to be shrouded with uncertainty as he rapidly approaches the end of his current deal, with many sections of supporters determined to see the Gunners make a change this summer.

The French boss has stated he has come to a decision on his future but is yet to announce his outcome publicly.
