Valencia show fighting talk in response to Liverpool’s dramatic comeback win

If Arsenal were not concerned about their two goal lead before, they certainly are now following Barcelona’s extraordinary collapse at the hands of Liverpool.

The Reds came from 3-0 down to win 4-3 and ultimately knock out the La Liga champions of the competition.

The Gunners currently lead the Spanish side 3-1 win.

Like Liverpool, Valencia, who are at home in the second-leg of the Europa League semi-final on Thursday, will also have to overcome the odds if they are to progress.

After the game at Anfield, Valencia’s English language Twitter account wrote: ‘So, it CAN be done…’ with a ‘fingers crossed’ emoji.

Arsenal fans will be hoping for the opposite, as they bid to reach the final in Baku.

Emery’s men must produce a Europa League triumph if they are to qualify for Champions League football next season.
