Arsenal were held to a draw by Vitoria Guimares in a wet and windy Europa League clash.

The match which was brought forward to Wednesday afternoon saw Unai Emery field a weakened side in north Portugal.

A match that lacked quality saw Shkodran Mustafi appear to win it for Arsenal with an 80th minute back post header.

But Vitoria struck back late on. Former Spurs man Marcus Edwards’ cross from the right caused confusion in the Gunners defence, allowing Duarte to equalise with a scissor-kick.

The result is Arsenal’s fourth consecutive draw in all competitions in a turbulent week that saw Granit Xhaka stripped of the captaincy.

The north Londoners could have done with a victory, but the pressure continues to mount on Unai Emery who’s position appears to be under threat.

We remain Group F leaders and will still qualify for the last 32 on Thursday if third-placed Standard Liege lose to Eintracht Frankfurt.

Any standout performances, Gooners? Let us know in the comments…
