Arsenal are seeking major transfers in the summer transfer window and have been handed a double blow in the market, with news that the Gunners have seen bids for Monaco’s Thomas Lemar and Lyon’s Alexandre Lacazette rejected.
The French duo are being targeted as major additions for Arsene Wenger’s side this summer and negotiations are set to continue, although a deal for Lacazette looks more likely at this stage because Monaco are reluctant to part ways with Lemar.
With a deal for Lacazette being completable, there’s plenty to discuss but the same can be said for the Lemar situation as Arsenal may need to change their approach or find a new target, with Leicester City’s Riyad Mahrez an alternative.
