VIDEO: ArsenalFanTV welcomes Lacazette to Arsenal

Arsenal officially have a new player in their ranks, following confirmation yesterday that Alexandre Lacazette has been captured from Lyon for a club-record fee.

The Gunners move to bring Lacazette, who scored 37 goals last season across all competitions and boasts 91 goals from the past four years in the league, is a major statement of intent ahead of what Arsenal hope will be a successful season.

The 26-year-old Frenchman joins compatriots Laurent Koscielny and Francis Coquelin at the Emirates Stadium, with it being likely he’ll make his home debut in the Emirates Cup later this mont after Arsenal’s pre-season tour of Australia and the Far East.

Arsenal fans will hope for an immediate impact from Lacazette and many believe he can emulate Gunners legend Ian Wright in North London, as they share the same prolific prowess in front of goal- and could help fire Arsenal towards a Premier League title which has eluded them since 2004.
