Arsenal fans will be nervously twitching for the remainder of the transfer window as Alexis Sanchez’ future continues to flood the back pages, with speculation that he could force an exit.
Gooners will not need to be reminded of the fact they’ve lost top-class players in the past, including the likes of Robin Van Persie and Samir Nasri, but the North London side remain adamant that the situation is different now and they will not sell.
However, Arsenal’s resolve could be tested by Manchester City, or another of Europe’s giants, and fans won’t be relaxed until the transfer window slams shut, or until Alexis extends his deal. Admittedly, things don’t look rosy at the moment.
As Arsenal fans contemplate the though of losing Alexis Sanchez, ArsenalFanTV have discussed whether the two-time Copa America winner could pull a Van Persie-esque move in the next six weeks and demand a transfer.
Should that occur, Alexis may well find himself as public enemy number one at the Emirates Stadium.
