On-loan Arsenal winger, Joel Campbell, showed manager Arsene Wenger exactly what he’s got on Sunday, when he came off the bench to score a 92nd minute winner in Costa Rica’s 4-3 World Cup qualifier victory over Russia.

The 24-year-old, who is spending the year on loan with Portuguese side Sporting Lisbon, after a campaign of sporadic appearances for the Gunners last term, came into the game on the 70 minute mark with the score level at three a piece.

Going into four minutes of injury time it looked as if the spoils were to be shared between the two sides before Campbell sparked into life.

The winger drove into the Russia penalty area, before a series of boggling tricks forced a foul out of the opposing back four.

The Costa Rica international then stepped up to take the penalty which he had won and, despite the ‘keeper going the right way, he slotted home comfortably.
