Arsene Wenger says Manchester United should be concerned about the form of Mesut Ozil.

The two sides face off in a top four showdown on Saturday in a bid to keep Manchester City honest.

Ozil was sublime in Arsenal’s 5-0 hammering of Huddersfield Town on Wednesday night. The German picked up two assists and cooly finished to find the back of the net himself.

The former Real Madrid playmaker is out of contract in the summer and is not expected to renew his current deal, with Jose Mourinho reportedly ready to try and lure him to Old Trafford.

Wenger recently claimed neither Ozil or Alexis Sanchez will be sold in the January transfer window. The boss has rubbished suggestions Ozil lacks commitment and has tipped the German to come out firing against Mourinho’s men.

As reported by the Metro, he said: ‘Look, that’s all speculation, you cannot interfere with that.

‘With Mesut, there’s only one way to show how much you are committed, that’s your attitude on the pitch. ‘And when you see him play, one thing you cannot question is the way he wants to play for the team.’
