According to reports, Arsene Wenger wants Raheem Sterling included in a deal for Alexis Sanchez proposed move to Manchester City.

The Citizens have been hot on the heels of the Gunners striker for some time and came close to securing Sanchez on transfer deadline day this summer.

A £60m fee had been agreed, but unfortunately for Pep Guardiola’s side the move collapsed after Arsenal failed to secure a suitable replacement.

Sanchez whose current contract expires at the end of the season can leave for free next summer, though City are keen to land the Chilean for a cut-price in the New Year.

Arsenal are willing to offload their talisman in January, and the Daily Mail claim they will demand Raheem Sterling is included in any agreement for the Chile international.

Sterling has made a scintillating start to the season, netting 10 times in all competitions so far.
