Arsene Wenger’s squad is very thin at the moment, with many injuries hitting the North London side in recent weeks. Arsenal, who won 4-0 last time out against Swansea played very well but some players may count themselves lucky to still be in the squad today when the Gunners host Burnley.

Luckily for Arsenal, key players are back in training after their injuries, meaning that they could be in mind for selection today.

Players such as Kieron Gibbs, Hector Bellerin and Francis Coquelin have passed fitness tests, a huge boost for Arsenal fans.

A major worry for the Gunners was the injury scare of French striker, Oliver Giroud, but he has also passed a fitness test and will surely lead the line today.

Here are THREE players who would be lucky to be in the starting selection today and should be dropped.. Do you agree? Who would you start against Burnley?

Gabriel

The Brazilian fitted in at right-back last weekend against Swansea with no fit full-backs available. Today, Arsenal’s number one choice right-back, Hector Bellerin has passed fit and may well find himself back in the side straight away.

Gabriel did not have a bad performance against the Swans, but Arsene Wenger may want to get his best squad available out there today against a tricky Burnley side.

Aaron Ramsey

The Welshman hasn’t been in the best form of his career as of late, and would find himself lucky to still be in the squad selection today with the French box-to-box midfielder, Francis Coquelin back in the squad after his injury.

Ramsey has not scored in the league this season, and is struggling to find his best form due to not getting a run of games under his belt.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

The powerful English winger has found it difficult to get himself back in the starting selection with the competition of wingers at Arsenal being a very tough one.

Many of the wide players at the Emirates have been playing well, whereas Alex unfortunately has not. With such an injury hit squad, he’s sure to be on the bench today, but he may find himself lucky to even be on that at present.
