Arsene Wenger is keen to see his side capitalise on their latest opportunity to close the gap to their rivals when his side travel to Tottenham on Saturday.
Arsenal are currently 6th in the Premier League, four points behind their north London rivals and an astonishing 24 adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
The two sides face off at Wembley which has quickly become a second home for the Gunners having won all of their previous eight matches at the national stadium.
After failing to conquer Chelsea and Liverpool in recent league outings, Wenger is keen to take victory in the always emotionally charged north London derby.
“There is always huge passion before the game and the emotion at stake that becomes a bit more agitated,” he said (via Sky Sports).
“We have a similar squad to that against Everton,” added Wenger. “Maybe Danny Welbeck will be back – we are not sure about Petr Cech, he has not practised. I don’t know if he will be available.
“Nacho Monreal looks alright again so it should be a similar squad. I have no problem with David Ospina or Petr Cech – I will make that decision tomorrow.”
Arsenal took all three points when the two sides met back in November. Shkodran Mustafi and Alexis Sanchez with the goals.
Wenger may choose to deploy new signings Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – both performed excellently in their full debuts last week.
