Wenger simply has to play this front FOUR against West Brom

Arsenal welcome West Brom to The Emirates tonight.

The Gunners most recent performance away to Chelsea suggests Arsene Wenger’s side are making progress when it comes to clashing with top teams away from home.

However, it’s important for Arsenal fans not to get carried away with the togetherness shown by the players – it was only a draw after all.

Neither Alexis Sanchez or Mesut Ozil started at Stamford Bridge. Sanchez was rested for a second successive league game, while Ozil was sidelined with a knee problem.

Both are in line to make a return against Tony Pulis’ side, but a proportion of the Arsenal fanbase now claim the club is better off without them.

Last season, it was Olivier Giroud who was the difference between the sides. Arsenal’s resident super-sub grabbed a late goal to give the Gunners a 1-0 win in December.

There have been calls for Giroud to receive more game time. Take a look at how we think Arsene Wenger should line up his forwards…

CAM: MESUT OZIL

Arsenal are expected to have the majority of the ball tonight, so a switch to four at the back should be taken.

After recovering from a knee injury, Ozil is likely to return to his trusty No 10 role to provide opportunities for those ahead of him.

LF: ALEXIS SANCHEZ

Arsene Wenger has assured Gooners, Sanchez is not being sent a message after leaving him out for two consecutive league games.

The Chilean is in line to make his return from the flanks.

RF: ALEX IWOBI

Iwobi was hugely impressive against Chelsea just over a week ago. The Nigerian showed excellent commitment, energy and team-ethic – just the traits Arsenal fans have been crying out for. He deserves a start.

ST: ALEXANDRE LACAZETTE

The club-record signing has made a positive start to life in North London. However, he (along with Arsenal fans) would have been immensely disappointed with not finding the net at Stamford Bridge.

Lacazette should be provided several chances to get on the score sheet tonight.
