Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has hinted he might change his team around after facing Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool within the one week.
“I will need some fresh legs as it’s our fourth big game in nine days. Maybe Sylvain Wiltord will play, certainly Jose Reyes will play, while Edu and Gilberto Silva will also start,” said Le Boss.
However, Patrick Vieira is desperate to play against Newcastle on Sunday, despite suffering a knee injury in that glorious win over Liverpool.
“I got a knock on my knee and have started to feel my hamstring but, when you win, you feel a lot better and I still want to play tomorrow,” Vieira said.
“It’s a big game for us and all of us will be ready. A few of us have some knocks but we will battle together to win the trophy.
“It is too big a game to miss. We all want to play as we know it can make the difference for us. We will fight until the end.”
