Why Arsenal are favourites to sign Dani Alves

Alves lifted the Copa America with Brazil last week

Arsenal are reportedly leading the chase to sign free agent Dani Alves.

The Copa America 2019 winner is reportedly keen on completing a move to The Emirates ‘on one condition’.

Alves is willing to take a pay cut to join. And has set his sights on reuniting with former boss Unai Emery, who he worked with a PSG.

The ex-Barcelona star had earned around £230,000-a-week at PSG and is willing to take a pay cut to secure the move.

But it is claimed he will demand a deal worth £200,000-a-week to move to the Emirates, with Arsenal publicly short of funds this summer.

If the Gunners cannot match his lofty wage demands, Manchester City , Inter Milan and Tottenham , who are set to sell Kieran Trippier to Atletico Madrid, are also believed to be interested.

Gooers, is Alves worth signing at £200,000-per-week? Let us know in the comments…
