Arsenal face a huge test in the Premier League tomorrow, where Jonathan Kaney believes we have to win.

This season has been a Jekyll and Hyde rollercoaster where Gooners have no idea what team is going to turn up and how well we are going to play.

For every good result we have, we seem to shoot ourselves in the foot with games like the 2-1 defeat to West Brom, 4-0 loss to Southampton, defeats to lowly Chelsea and dropped points in draws against Norwich, Liverpool and Stoke when we should have won.

Beating Bournemouth away and then clinching a dramatic win over Leicester has put us right back in the title race. But a limp performance against Hull and the loss to Barcelona when we could have won, sees us travel to Old Trafford struggling to score and under more pressure than we should be facing such a fragile United side.

We haven’t won at Old Trafford since 2006, but this is the weakest United side we have ever faced and it’s a great opportunity to get our first away Premier League win over them in a decade and keep the pressure on at the top.

We are only two points off Leicester and level in second with Spurs, but anything less than a win puts the pressure right back on us and allows City and Spurs to push Leicester again.

We should be well ahead of the pack now, but a mix of injuries, bad luck and naïve mistakes means were not, and as usual for Arsenal we will have to do it the hard way.

There are still plenty of games to go this season, but we can’t afford any slip-ups. We are the favourites for this tie and we have to pull our socks up and win this game. If we don’t, the confidence from our wins against Leicester and Bournemouth is quashed and we go back to chasing instead of leading again.

We can’t let that happen. Let’s hope the boys grab this one by the scruff of the neck and put United to the sword to give us some confidence for the tough fixtures in the coming weeks and show that we have the mentality of Champions.
