Why Cavani would slot right into the system at Arsenal

Arsenal have been linked with PSG Edinson Cavani, and according to some reports Wenger is ready to test the French side’s resolve with a bid. The boss revealed he is optimistic of adding some firepower to Arsenal’s front line before Tuesday’s deadline, and Cavani could be just the high profile addition needed gooner crave.

The £44million million rated Uruguayan would more than fit the bill at Arsenal, and the player is said to belling to make the move across the pond.

Cavani’s goals would take Arsenal to the next level, and his style of play suits the club perfectly. He would slot in seamlessly. Cavani is a bit a hybrid between Giroud and Walcott.

He loves to run in behind the back line and into pockets of space but is also useful in possession with his hold up and combination play.

The 6’2 front man is mobile, pacey, strong, versatile, and is an excellent finisher. He can finish with both feet and with his head and also fancies long range pops at goal from time to time. This lad has a great leap on him as well and is an aerial threat to add to his long list of attributes.

He everything in his locker for a top striker and would add a different dimension to Arsenal’s play with his mobility. Just as comfortable stretching the back line with a run in behind as he is creating gaps for others by checking in and combining, and with his kind of variation the side would create a whole lot more chances.

Cavani is a real grafter as well and puts in a shift for the side much in the ilk of Alexis Sanchez. He loves to help defencively and track back and would help the side press opponents from the front.

He would be a fabulous addition to Arsenal I reckon and would not only slot into Arsenal’s intricate style of play easily and make the side stronger with his finishing ability.
