Arsenal misfit Henrikh Mkhitaryan could find himself back at the Emirates this summer after the club appear to have priced the Armenian out of a move to Roma.

Despite the midfielder’s contract coming to an end at the Emirates, the Gunners have told the Serie A side to cough up £20m, according to reports.

The midfielder is keen to make his move permanent but £20m is a figure Roma are not willing to fork out.

A €10m (£8.5m) bid was rejected in January but they are unlikely to make a fresh move for a player in the summer with just 12 months left on his contract.

Mkhitaryan was shipped out on loan this season after a disappointing 2018/19. The 31 year-old who contributed with six goals and four assists frequently drifted through matches under Unai Emery.

He has four goals and one assist for Roma, who are fifth in Serie A.
