Arsenal winger Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is reportedly growing increasingly frustrated by the situation surrounding his new deal and his place in the side.

Wenger had claimed that talks with the England international had commenced, however, according to The Mirror, to Chamberlain’s annoyance, no such talks have taken place.

Furthermore, the 23-year-old, who has 18 months remaining on his current deal, is becoming irritated by the amount of time he gets on the pitch. When he is handed a start the winger is usually one of the first hauled off for a replacement.

With the former Southampton youngster, who was linked with a move back to his former stomping ground during the summer, having already admitted that a move may have to be something he must consider in order to progress his career, Wenger is now faced with a call to make.

With everything going on regarding the deals for star duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, the gaffer must take a minute and realise why he simply must had ‘the Ox’ a new deal…
