It goes without saying that Mick McCarthy’s side will be entering this match with plenty of confidence but it doesn’t appear as though the bookmakers are convinced with a massive 12/1 price being floated on Wolves.

Arsenal look like they’ll be able to stifle any chance of a mini-revival for the relegation candidates but there remains every chance of Wolves sneaking an early goal and then attempting to park the bus once again.

If the bookmakers are to be believed, it appears as though we’re in for a rather lopsided contest with Arsenal likely putting three goals past the visitors to keep up the pressure on Manchester United. United facing off against City in the early fixture could really add an extra element to this match-up – especially if United wind up dropping points.

Theo Walcott is one to watch in this match and you can expect his pace to give Wolves defenders a rough time if manages to replicate the form he demonstrated in midweek. Walcott is floating around 5/4 for a goal at any point and he’s priced at 5/1 to open the scoring.

Jack Wilshere will likely be a factor and he’s available at 3/1 to score a goal at any point though you reckon he’ll likely be providing the bulk of the chances as opposed to finishing them.

Those fancying an open affair can capitalize by backing the over 3.5 goals selection at a 6/5 margin. That’s probably a better wager if one thinks that Wolves are going to put up a fight at the Emirates. Those who think this is going to be a one-sided contest would do well to back Arsenal to score over 2.5 goals at even money. Arsenal on a (-2.0) handicap is ambitious, but rewarding at 7/4.

Expect Arsenal to possibly try to keep Wolves contained for the first 45 before going in for the kill in the second half. Draw/Arsenal in the half-time/full-time is a very enticing 7/2.
