Arsenal’s performances have improved, but collecting wins has been Mikel Arteta’s biggest problem.
Very few sane Gooners had been anticipating a quick fix under the new boss, but one stat that has emerged this past week will have concerned supporters:
Arsenal have taken the third fewest shots in Premier League since Arteta took charge – and Ozil has just one assist.
Since Mikel Arteta was appointed, Arsenal have managed 68 shots – only Sheffield United (66) and Crystal Palace (60) have mustered fewer. No point playing loads of strikers if you can't create enough chances.

Sunday’s 0-0 Premier League draw at Burnley – Arsenal’s 4th on the trot – leaves the north Londoners with the third-fewest total of shots since Arteta took over last month, with Ozil supplying just one assist in his past 11 games.
Tenth-placed Arsenal’s haul of 68 shots is above only Sheffield United’s 66 and 60 for Crystal Palace.

Ozil, who currently takes home £350,000-a-week at the Emirates has faded along with the rest of his team, having now gone nine games without an assist.
Alexandre Lacazette is also nine appearances without a goal.
