Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco has revealed he is is unhappy with his role at Juve and is contemplating his future at the club. The man nicknamed “the atomic ant” has appeared only once this season for Juve, and his comments have put many clubs on alert. Arsenal is said to be a long time admirer of the player and rumours of a possible deal involving Lukas Podolski have even been mooted.

Giovinco is a wonderful footballer, and although he would find it difficult to break into our XI as well I think he suits the Arsenal style of play. As things stand, we have no room for the player, but if a swap with Podolski (would hate to see him go, but would totally understand) was on the cards then he would be a perfectly suitable replacement.

“I’m not resigned [to being a substitute], it’s not in my character. I have to evaluate many things but I’m not thinking about it now.” He said.

“I’ll try to give my best, as I did tonight, then we’ll see later this year if I will continue at Juventus. I hope so.”

“The season has only just begun. I hope to be able to add my contribution.”

Arsenal is reportedly interested in registering an interest as early as January. Seems unlikely as the team is well stocked in the wing and midfield positions but if reports are true, I like the look of the player and think he can add something to the side. He has pace, trickery, and can play with both feet.

He is comfortable anywhere along the front line, and likes to combine with those around him. He could be a fantastic addition to the side, but only if injuries are prevalent or players leave the club before hand.
