Arsene Wenger says recently returned stars Theo Walcott and Jack Wilshere are nearly back to top form and says both will be heavily involved for the small remainder of the season.

Both have suffered from long term injuries and have missed the majority the season so far. Unfortunately for them, the side found momentum during that time, so much that the pair have had a hard time getting back into the XI. Wenger now says that those players who have seen much of the pitch are beginning to feel fatigued, and says the English duo could play a part in the final two matches.

“Some players are a bit jaded. We need to try to keep a balance without losing unity on the tactical side,” Wenger said.

“Jack Wilshere and Theo Walcott are very close to their best now.”

“I was tempted to start Theo and he will play an important part and on Sunday.”

Could Walcott be set for a starting role this afternoon? The player has been chomping at the bit for more involvement, and could finally have his wish granted. As for Wilshere, he has looked sharp in his cameos since returning and will be also be eager for more playing time.

Both will have their work cut our for them if they are to establish themselves in the squad yet again.
