Injuries

The combined injured XI for Arsene Wenger and Louis van Gaal’s side would win any Premier League title!

Arsenal will be without Mathieu Debuchy, Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and David Ospina, although Danny Welbeck is expected to be fit to face his former club, as well as talk of Olivier Giroud returning to the squad following injury.

Manchester United will be visit the Emirates missing Jesse Lingard, Radamel Falcao, Phil Jones, Ashley Young, Marco Rojo, Rafael and Daley Blind. However, Luke Shaw, Angel di Maria, David de Gea, Michael Carrick, and Jonny Evans are all expected to be passed fit.

Blazer’s Bets

The man of the moment, Alexis Sanchez, has been in scintillating form for club and country and it doesn’t look like stopping anytime soon. Therefore, jump on Bet365’s 5/1 on the Chilean to opening the scoring in the late kick-off.

Despite previous meetings suggesting that these games aren’t full of goals, given both sides troubles at the back, I’m leaning towards going for Bet Victor’s 19/4 on their being ‘over 4.5 goals’.

Predictions

The one result of recent seasons I just cannot shake is the pathetic 1-0 defeat against Manchester United that we suffered in our first meeting with the Red Devils since Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement.

The game signified a perfect opportunity to banish our inferiority complex and push on in our desire to be recognised – again – within the upper echelons of English football.

I fully expect us – and require us – to put in the performance and result that was desperately missing on that day.

4-2 to the Gunners with Alexis Sanchez and Theo Walcott giving an exciting insight into what they can achieve as a partnership for the Gunners.

I think Afc should win given the Manu leaky defence..Aw , just choose a team excluding Monreal. Keep Rooney and Di maria quiet and we should be home and dry. Sanchez can make the difference.
