Injuries

With news of Jack Wilshere’s long-term absence confirmed yesterday, the England international joins Mathieu Debuchy, Mesut Ozil, David Ospina, Theo Walcott, Yaya Sanogo and Mikel Arteta on the sidelines. There could be some positive injury news for Arsenal, though, with Wojciech Szczesny and Danny Welbeck facing late fitness tests.

No doubt, West Bromwich Albion are the envy of Arsene Wenger and Arsenal fans as the Baggies have a clean bill of health going into their clash with the Gunners.

Blazer’s Bets

Olivier Giroud will be chomping at the bit to play having been ineligible for the midweek game against Borussia Dortmund and having scored a beauty against Manchester United upon his return. Furthermore, with injury doubts over Danny Welbeck, Giroud is bound to start and Bet365’s 9/2 for Oli G to open the scoring looks tempting.

Despite recent results suggesting that we don’t convincingly dispatch of the Baggies, I’m feeling confident that the manner of the Borussia Dortmund victory will spur on the lads. Therefore, Bet Victor’s 17/1 for a 3-0 win for Arsene Wenger’s side is tickling my fancy.
