3 points, all I care about. If we're still top/near top around Christmas we should buy a LB in Jan, Monreal is worrying me greatly.

I think this Nacho worry is unwarranted. He is still technically and positionally sound. He may have some trouble with pacy wingers, we all know that. The main issue though is that he can not be defending on an island. Whoever is playing on the left side has to track back. Iwobi needs to do that job too.

Bit of a stretch to call him our academy product... nitpicking I know, I'll see myself out... :eek:ops:
It's kinda like when a kid is at a rubbish school but you see a lot of potential in them, so you put them in the good school and now when they've lived up to their potential, they're the product of the good school.

Going forward we looked brilliant, our play was the old arsenal and they couldnt handle us.

The 2 goals conceeded were bad and I hope thats a blip

Every player played very well today. It was Özil best game of the season and his link up was on a different level.

Was deffo a red but we held firm and got a great win

i dont agree in most of the points
good game okay, but not brilliant (besides the 2 big defensive mistakes).
forward was okay, great to see theo scoring, but also some sh*t, especially in building process starting in our CM.
Özil had better games (i dont say he had a bad game).
I also dont think it deffo was a red but i agree there are different opinions.

but all in all it was a weird game and if we wouldnt have conceded the 2-1 we might have overrun them in 2nd half...

Need to get arsenal fan listed as a stipulation under my life insurance, be still my beating heart damn.

Important three points, first goal was down to a Xhaka error and the second goal was poor anticipation from Koscielny who had a good game otherwise.

Walcott's movement was exceptional, disappointed for him that he couldn't grab the hat trick but he's such a threat when used in this way.

Alexis is again taking to false nine role like a duck to water, great assist on Ozils goal and had he timed his own runs a fraction better he would have scored today. 5 goals and 5 assists is a brilliant return, look forward to seeing his end of season tally if he maintains this.

What was the vibe like - must be mighty relieved at the end
It didn't start to get tense. The offsides had us all going mental, were they really all offside?

One thing that was clear is that our team still has a few gears left offensively. A lot of simple passes misplaced, bad desicions made and missed sitters but we still looked extremely dangerous. Good signs.

Many of the offsides were actually offside but there were a couple key ones, Theo & Alexis that were level.

Staying that extra 5 minutes adds about 30 minutes onto your journey. Everyone's situation is different tbf, IMO they've shown enough support by spending money on tickets and merchandise.
I would understand if we are down by three to leave as a protest, but otherwise, if you go there then support the team to the end. Otherwise why bother at all?

Don't get me started on when your team is hanging on by the skin of its teeth with 10 men up by a single goal...:rolleyes:

Agree with this completely. Don't mind if we're 5-0 up and we're cruising. Leave at the 75th minute for all I care.

But those last 2 minutes with 10 men the fans can be the difference between 3 points or 1. We need better support at home.
